IJ is not capable of identifying application(s) is up or in process or getting executed. On Win platform using TWAPI libraries it is easy to check if application is running and then kill it. Below TCL script does that work

Code: Select all
set program <%Company%><%AppName%>.exe
set pids [twapi::get_process_ids -name $program]
foreach pid $pids {
    catch {twapi::end_process $pid -force}
}

Warning and other such things can be handled using the above script. Hope this is what was wanted and it helps. The not working part is that this works with TWAPI only on Windows platform. Support for POSIX platform is to be done executing commands.

I have not worked on such exceptions ;) just giving ideas...

It suppose is doable. First ascertain which application is using the file. The application made by you may be the blocking the deletion. In such a case stop your application with the given script and then delete file. If not your application then find the cause. May be use TWAPI to find all these probabilities.

Hi
thanks for your replay.

My Actual need is that, customize the application error message box. I want to show my own message box instead of the application error message box.

Thanks
